this quilt was done for my little 2 year old granddaughter, I did a meander stitch all around the blocks and just outlined the pinwheels inside the block for the quilting of it.

this was taken of the quilt that was finished, but the sun was shining on the quilt when the picture was taken, so it looks different that the single block view that is also on here.

the finished quilt that was put together in tans and off whites. I quilted it on my long arm using swirls in the borders and stippling.

this in one square of 12 that were hand appliqued by my grandmother many years ago. it was with the fan quilt squares that my mother had tucked away.

this is a quilt, that i pieced together from original blocks that my mother (pictured on right) had tucked away in a pillowcase for over 40 years. They had been hand appliqued by her mother, and when I got them, the need was still in the back of the last block that my grandmother had sewn. I don't remember my grandmother, so these blocks were an exceptional gift for me to piece together. I added the triangle patch blocks to make it into a nine patch dresden plate, from what I finally decided had been fan blocks, my sister was given this quilt, (sister on left) and she absolutely loves it.
